Congratulations to Ron and Tommy on their promotion to Yondan (4th Dan) in Aikido. Shown here with Dino (recently promoted to Nanadan (7th Dan) they have worked on high-level material with a thought to learning the entire ryu. These three players beginning pre-covid were heavily training in Koshiki no Kata, Itsutsu no Kata, Tomiki-based Daito Ryu material, and other highly advanced kata sets that are cross-overs in the sense that they are found both in both Tomiki Ryu Aikido dojo and Kodokan Judo dojo. The work is foundational to both martial systems. Congrats and we are looking forward to the next promotion as you career in MA continues.
